Manchester International Festival welcomes Bjork to Manchester for the world premiere of her Biophilia live show.
The six concerts sold out weeks ago but tickets are now available for a special preview on Monday 27 June at 8.30pm, priced £29.50 - usual price £45. This is a special deal for Confidential readers.
These concerts are Bjork’s first UK dates in more than three years. The world premiere of Biophilia will be performed in-the-round, in the beautiful Campfield Market Hall for an audience of just 1,800. Björk will be performing songs from her forthcoming Biophilia album as well work from her back catalogue.
The show features a range of specially conceived and crafted instruments, among them a bespoke digitally-controlled pipe organ; a 30 foot pendulum that harnesses the earth’s gravitational pull to create musical patterns – and an Icelandic female choir.
Sounds like it's going to be amazing.
