You know there is a recession on when prime real estate is being given over to surface car parks. When i were a lad you couldnt move for surface car parks. Halcyon days.
Talking of the olden days - that Hogshead application *is* a Tesco. Common knowledge round these parts. Can i come and collect my fiver or do you want to bring it round? I wont accept Clubcard Points. Cash only.
Whilst im on, and in a belligerent mood for a change, how come Lord Snooty and his chums at MGS are weaselling out of a planning condition? (thats a rhetorical question and doesnt really require an answer - just taking the opportunity to have a go at the posh weasels)

Blimey, I mustn't have noticed when I passed through last week. The application did say 'former' Hogshead.

I'd give myself credit for the Mystic Meg prediction but guessing that something is going to be a Tesco is hardly tricky these days is it?

We did - the gremlins must have got to the second one, but it's corrected now. It's on Thomas Street.

I got a letter through the door yesterday informing me of an application for an alcohol licence for a vacant building on 14 Tariff Street. Yet another NQ bar?
