POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a city store was destroyed during disorder on Tuesday 9 August 2011.
At about 6.30pm an offender started a fire at Miss Selfridge on Market Street.
The blaze destroyed the building and all stock inside.
It is estimated the total cost of the damage including stock is more than £400,000.
Detective Sergeant Jim Slack, said: "On Tuesday last week we saw unprecedented scenes of violence and destruction.
"Dozens of stores were targeted but this shop in particular was completely destroyed.
"We know there were a lot of people in the area when the fire was started and I am keen to hear from as many of those as possible.
"I am also interested in getting hold of any footage that was taken on a video camera or mobile phone showing the incident."

Dane Williamson has been charged with criminal damage, recklessly endangering life and appeared at Manchester Magistrates Court on Friday 12 August 2011.
