Manchester Book Market 17/18 June - this weekend

St Ann's Square, Manchester
10am-5pm
 (Readings  noon-5pm)

The Manchester Book Market brings the best independently produced novels, poetry, short fiction, art books, sci-fi, horror and non-fiction right to your doorstep, at a time when high street bookshops are growing increasingly conservative...

Situated in the bustling St Ann’s Square, just off Deansgate, the market’s a great place to browse, grab a coffee, buy a book, and listen to live readings from the best in the region's spoken word talent...

Aspiring writers can also meet representatives from the North’s finest independent presses – including Peepal Tree, Route, Comma, Crocus/Commonword, Dreamcatcher, Flapjack, Nightjar, Satchel/Suitcase, Night Jar, Hidden Gem, Interzone, and many others. So if you’re an aspiring writer, why not make contact with publishers and put your name about?

There’ll be live readings on Friday and Saturday, from noon–5pm:
