Nestlé cereal Curiously Cinnamon is intent on creating the ultimate cinema experience and the team behind the project are bringing their quest to the city with a screening of ‘Jaws’ in the recently restored Victoria Baths on Tuesday 5 April.
Whilst Newcastle got ‘Goal!’ and Nottingham got ‘The Shining’, Victoria Baths will be scaring you off swimming for a while with the screening of ‘Jaws’. This unique experience will allow Curiously Cinnema goers to be seated in the empty Edwardian swimming pool whilst enjoying the suspense-filled classic.
So whilst the likelihood of a shark attack in the city remains pretty slim, this is the closest you’ll get to the real thing – just without the scars or the trauma. Great idea? We think so.
The event starts at 7.30pm and information on how to win tickets to the screening can be found on the Cinnema tab on facebook.com. The site also has information about other future events and competitions to win film prizes so it’s worth a browse.
