CALLING all Trekkies - beam yourselves down to the Generation Pop Art Gallery in September where a free art exhibition will be celebrating the sci-fi show.
The exhibition, at the gallery on New York Street, will feature artwork which is being flown over from Los Angeles and New York.
It will also include illustrative pieces from Ryan Church, who created the concept artwork for the latest Star Trek film.
Fans from all over the country will be attending the invitation-only launch event on 8 September, which is 45 years to the day that Kirk, Spock and the crew hit TV screens.
Tickets for the launch event are free, however you will need to call or email the gallery to be added to the guest list. And if you own a Star Trek uniform, then why not wear it on the opening night.
The exhibition, which is sponsored by the movie and TV themed bar Fab Café, will be open to the public from 9-20 September and is free to attend.
