SCOTTISH singer/songwriter Emeli Sande and soul star Lemar are set to headline a host of performers at the relaunch of Peckforton Castle in Tarporley, Cheshire this month.

Four star hotel Peckforton Castle, suffered a suspected arson attack in June 2011. The blow came after the hotel had finished a £1.7m restoration programme in 2010, providing additional facilities including the brasserie, beauty treatment area and eleven new en-suite bedrooms.

Around 25 per cent of the Grade I listed, family owned hotel was damaged in the fire, but extensive rebuilding and restoration work in conjunction with English Heritage will see the luxury venue brought back to life with this star-studded party.

Sande’s performance at Peckforton Castle comes just days before she is due to be presented with a ‘Critics’ Choice’ Brit Award along with finding out if she has won ‘British Breakthrough Act’. Having celebrated her first number one last year collaborating with Professor Green on the track ‘Read all About It’ she is set to release her latest single ‘Next to Me’ on Monday 13 February.

The relaunch party at Peckforton Castle will take place on Thursday 16 February and is an invite-only event.
