New Year's Eve is a magical night, if you choose the right venue. This year, avoid the weeks of head-scratching followed by a last minute panic by booking in somewhere you know will be good.
The Manchester Hilton Hotel Deansgate is one place that knows how to do a big occasion. In its Deansgate Suite, they'll be hosting a New Year's Eve event that ticks all the boxes: glittering, glamorous, and with a real sense of excitement.
The night will start at 7.30pm with a sparkling drinks reception where you can mingle with the other revellers and check out the outfits (it's dress to impress so wear your finest).
Then you'll be seated for a decadent four-course dinner prepared by the team at the hotel's award-winning Podium restaurant. Head chef David Gale consistently turns out outstanding food, even on the busiest nights of the social calendar. Expect a fabulous dinner, not conveyor belt-style banqueting. The menu is detailed below.
The atmosphere will be relaxed and sociable, with a big build-up to the chimes at midnight. After you've toasted in the New Year, there'll be more dancing and drinking with a DJ until 1.30am.
This is an ideal celebration for families and friends. Excellent food in a landmark building that can't help but feel special.
Tickets cost £55 per person including the drinks reception and four course dinner. And Confidential readers receive a free half bottle of wine per person when they book before 7th December 2011
To take advantage of this offer, just call 0161 870 1700 by 7 December and quote 'Manchester Confidential'.
