ONE of the breakout stars of 2011, Aloe Blacc has announced plans for a first headline UK Tour in December. He shot to prominence with the release of the catchy ‘I Need A Dollar’ written shortly after he was made unemployed and which spent eight weeks in the top ten. He followed this up with the hugely successful album ‘Good Things’ which currently sits at Number 20 in the UK album charts.
Tickets are sure to be in huge demand for a man who has emerged as one of the most popular male singer/songwriters of recent years and the tour announcement follows his successful sets at Glastonbury and other festivals.
The tour starts in Birmingham on Sat 3 December. The full date list is:
