MANCHESTER’s 24-hour private members club, The Circle Club, is expanding with a brand new champagne and cocktail bar opening soon in the Trafford Centre.
Open from noon to midnight, it will also serve cocktail snacks including oysters, caviar, sharing platters, ice-creams, sorbets, cakes and sweets.
Designed by award-winning interior designer Paul Astill, the new club, called Circle 360, will embody a classic yet contemporary marble design, that matches the Trafford Centre’s keynote architectural flamboyance.
Astill seems to have taken his inspiration from a classy yet kooky Carrollian perspective: with its heart-shaped bar, white rabbitesque furnishings and red and white checkerboard floor, one is sure to feel lost in an absinthe labyrinthine maze after downing a cocktail or two. This might just enhance the experience.
The 45-seat white marble bar will take its position in the Italian Galleries on the first floor of the Orient food court and will open this summer. It will have 50-strong cocktail menu, including both classic and contemporary drinks priced from £4.50 and will serve 21 champagnes ranging from £40 (Moet and Chandon) to £350 (Armand De Brignac Ace of Spades), with glasses starting from £4.95.
Open from noon to midnight, it will also serve cocktail snacks including oysters, caviar, sharing platters, ice-creams, sorbets, cakes and sweets.
The bar will shortly be interviewing staff for positions ranging from Assistant Manager and Supervisor to cocktail waitresses and waiters on Thursday, 9 June from 1pm at The Circle Club, based in the grade 11 listed Barton Arcade, off Deansgate in Manchester City Centre.
Those interested are urged contact the bar via www.thecircleclub.com or by phoning 0161 288 8118.
