FOUR of Manchester’s most talented chefs will be taking on the biggest culinary challenge of their careers this Monday night. They'll mentor four BBC Radio Manchester presenters to produce a four course dinner for the paying public on 14 November 2011 at the award winning Room Restaurant, Manchester.
BBC Radio Manchester and BBC North West Tonight will be there to capture the spectacle (and chaos) as the presenters swap their microphones for oven gloves. Pudsey Bear will also be there to ensure fair play and announce the winning team.
Neil Armstrong, executive chef at the Radisson Edwardian will be takingveteran breakfast broadcaster Allan Beswick through the starters. Personal chef and Gourmet Gusto, Jason Palin, will be helping Andy Crane produce posh fish fingers. Room head chef, Pete Taylor, will be guiding Becky Want through the mains, and Mark Rossi from Michael Caines restaurant at Abode will finish the night with Heather Stott on dessert.
Tickets for the four course dinner plus drink on arrival are £40 with 50 per cent going direct to Children in Need. The dinner starts at 6.30pm for 7pm, this Monday (14 November 2011).
There's a handful of tickets left for this event. To get one, please contact Room restaurant on 0161 839 2005.
