Some people train for months to do the Manchester 10K to raise money for charity. Others just settle down to a nice slice of cake and a pot of tea.
If the latter sounds more your type of thing, wander over to Teacup on Thomas Street on Friday 20 May. They are taking part in Cake Break 2011 and will be donating all money made from cakes sales to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Click here to find out more information about the charity.
Teacup puts on a lovely spread when it comes to their home-baked goodies. The selections change daily but you might find vanilla cheesecake, a variety of cupcakes, luxury carrot cake, chocolate brownie, and the queen of all cakes, Victoria sponge, on the menu. And they're all home-made on the premises.
If you're a tea and cake kind of person then you might be interested in Teacup's current offer. A cream tea for two is £5 off at the moment at just £8 (£4pp). Get your cream tea voucher here.
And remember to buy a cake or two at Teacup on Friday 20 May to help them raise money for the MS Society.
