Alas, dieting is antisocial behaviour at the best of times. But it’s a sorry tale when our friends are filling their boots at their fave restaurant while we are scratching at the door like street urchins sipping slim fast.

So, Barburrito we love you. We loved you firstly from saving lunchtimes from ham and pickle sarnies and now we think you’re the best thing since sliced erm…burritos for thinking of our waistlines and social lives.

Your healthy salad bowls and burritos are a party on our plates and even weight watchers would whole heartedly applaud your succulent barbequed chicken, char-grilled steak and delicious vegetarian dishes. And not a deep fat fryer in spitting distance.

It’s no wonder that the Guardian Newspaper have listed you in their Top 50 healthy fast food joints in the UK.
