Abode hotel in Manchester has come up with the perfect end to the working week.
The hotel’s MC Café Bar & Grill has launched ‘Fizzy Fridays’, which involves music, a bottle of Bernardi Prosecco and nibbles, for just £20.
Abode has also knocked up a new Divine Dining menu to go with it, offering two courses for £9.95 or three courses for £14.95.
Confidential went along to sample the new menu along with a glass of Prosecco, and we were particularly impressed with the smoked salmon blini, the pressed chicken and caper terrine and the slow cooked sage pork chop. Roasted courgettes with a tomato and aubergine stuffing also offered something a little more exciting for vegetarians.
The cheeseboard is an absolute cracker as well, which is on the Divine Dining menu as well as pear & rhubarb compote with ginger biscuits and Chantilly cream and baked lime cheesecake, for those with a sweet tooth.
It’s a nice space to end the week in and is a little more refined than elbowing your way to the bar for a pint of lager.
