The Bay Horse

The pub that brought pub-going into the 21st century lies on lively Thomas Street.

Leonis Latin Cellar

A stalwart of two decades, located in an atmospheric basement of Cross Street and close to Albert Square. 

The menu does the Med thing but also travels to Latin America which reflects the owners background.

The biggy on the menu is the vast Paradilla with lamb chops, boneless marinated chicken, chorizo, chips, tomato and coriander dip.

Beluga

The well-loved Manchester bar that combines good service, a good range of drinks with a menu of classics from steaks to sandwiches. 

The terrace is generous and a real sun trap throughout the year, while the location next to the Town Hall (in a former Inland Revenue building of 1876 – boo) makes it a very convenient stop over.

Earle

Sassy suburban venue with smart design and well-crafted dishes from Simon Rimmer, the chirpy, ladies’ favourite, TV chef. 

Dishes such as Pork three ways, pork fillet and creamed cabbage, pork belly with black pudding mash and curried pork and apple spring roll or Pan-fried salmon and scallops, pea puree, bacon lardons and truffle always hit the spot.
