Confidential Heroes will be heading to Zaika later this month for a spot of post-work curry and bubbly.
Not content with impressing the Confidential editor, Zaika's chefs now want to show off their culinary skills to the Confidential readers. They're putting together a couple of curries and appetizers for a small shindig for the Heroes on Thursday 25 February.
This upmarket, city centre Indian opened in the Great Northern Tower, off Deansgate, in November. Schofield headed down there soon after and gave it 8/10 for food. He thought that the Bombay fish aloo was 'an absolute cracker' while the lamb biryani was one of the best he's had. We won't repeat what he said about the Lahori meat kebab, but all in all, he was impressed. It sounds as though the likes Akbars and Shimla Pinks have got some serious competition.
Not content with winning over the Confidential editor, Zaika's chefs now want to show off their culinary skills to the Confidential readers. On the evening of 25 February, they'll be putting together a few curries and appetizers for a small shindig especially for the Heroes. The first glass of bubbly is on Gordo. He's a true gent.
There are limited places for Heroes and they can bring a pal with them if they please. It's going to be a sociable, relaxed evening – a good opportunity to meet fellow readers. If you're a Hero and fancy going drop us an email on heroes@manchesterconfidential.com, letting us know if you want to go solo or with a plus one and we’ll let you know if you’ve got a place.
