Swing music and great food at Stock: book now

After the success of our Stock Opera Night we’ve got another rare treat for you in one of Manchester’s grandest dining spaces.

Thursday 19 August will see a special Confidential night with a six piece Swing Band bringing big tunes to one of the North’s best Italian restaurants.

Along with the band you’ll also enjoy the voice of Paul Pashley (click here for a video), one of the smoothest singers around. Pashley’s serenaded folk all over the world, his voice pure velvet power bringing out the best from classic swing/big band songs.

His CV is impressive by the way and includes the Rooney’s Italian wedding reception, a Manchester United Champions League Final Aftershow, the MEN Theatre Awards and appearances at events at Liverpool FC, the Co-op, Five Stars Charity and across the globe in Bahrain, Scandinavia, the States and elsewhere.

OK magazine said of the Rooney wedding appearance: ‘'As if the view itself wasn't enough of a treat, British newcomer Paul Pashley took to the miniature stage to sing a mix of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Matt Monro classics, all carefully chosen by the newlyweds - even the grandparents were on their feet.’ June 30, 2008.

Tickets for this event cost £55 each for readers, with a £15 deposit to secure your place. People will be seated in gala-style tables of 10 and wine can be pre-ordered. (click here to view the wine list).

The evening will run like this:
7.30pm arrival at Stock – with glass of Prosecco

8-8.15pm seated for dinner

Dress code: Black tie

3 x 35 minute sets plus live background music while dining.
