Last night saw the VIP launch of The Liars Club Tiki Dive Bar and Caribbean Rum Shop, underneath Mojo and just off Bridge Street.
More than 400 guests rammed the bar during the night. Confidential was there too and liked it very much thank you.
The new bar comes from the owners of Black Dog Ballroom, Ross Mackenzie and Jobe Ferguson, with Tiki expertise coming from Lyndon Higginson.
Mackenzie said: "Last night's VIP launch of The Liars Club was a triumph. Around 400 guests attended the party which started at 6 and went on until 4am. It had just the right atmosphere with our Tiki girls greeting guests with garlands at the door and exotic cocktails for all.
"The bar looks fantastic, and Lyndon and the team have done the perfect job of creating that slice of Tiki heaven that was missing from Manchester's business district. We can't wait to see how it develops."

It was as good as I could have hoped. What a night :D
Missed the tiki girls and drinks and it was only 10pm by the time I got there. Disappointment was almost made up for by ordering a Treasure Chest!!
Great night by the way. Good atmosphere. Highly recommended to anyone.
