Local model turned entrepreneur, Alex Leigh wants us all to look and feel a million dollars this summer.

After 15 highly successful years of preening and posing for the likes of Cosmopolitan, Harpers & Queen, Vogue and Dazed & Confused, Alex has now decided to share her tips from the model industry with would-be models and ladies who want to learn how to look after themselves. From hair and beauty tips, to talks on diet, confidence and making the most of your body shape, Alex's course accompanies her new DVD on becoming a model or working in the fashion industry.

Experts will be on hand to give advice and tips on everything from make-up and hair styling, style, diet and exercise, confidence and self esteem to photo shoot posing and catwalking. The course also gives you the opportunity to let the professionals rummage through your make-up bag, perfect your tresses and even make sure you're wearing the right bra size.

Alex said: “This course is unique and packed full of essential information for any young lady (or more mature) who needs expert advice on all areas of life. Whether you want to be a model or just want advice on how to make the best of yourself, this course is for you.”

Starting on Friday 24th July, The Grooming Academy will be running Make Up, Hair and Modelling Workshops on a weekly basis at the fantastic Sunshine Studio’s in Manchester from 10.30am till 2.30pm. Alex Leigh will be doing a photo shoot posing lesson followed by a photo shoot of each student. The cost is £25 each including refreshments.
