Manchester has a strong affinity with badminton and has successfully hosted the sport’s national championships for several years.
For the first time ever, the European championship events have been divided. The European mixed team championships took place in Liverpool in 2009. Manchester’s turn to host the European Individual Championships comes in 2010.
The top British players will take on the best in Europe in front of a home crowd, in what promises to be a fantastic six days of action. More information will be announced soon.

The prestigious 2010 FIL World Lacrosse Championships come to Manchester in the biggest World Championships to date, with 31 nations competing for the title.
The 2010 World Championships will also host the first FIL endorsed World Festival. This is a unique opportunity for quality touring teams to play in a competitive tournament in Manchester in the shadow of the World Championships. Participants can play on the same pitches, stay in the same accommodation and be a part of the same atmosphere as the World Class players of the 2010 Lacrosse World Championships.
