Fantastic Fox at Tatton Park

All Mr Fox wants from life is to feed his family and fortunately farmers Boggis, Bunce and Bean have an ample supply of chickens, geese and ducks. But Boggis, Bunce and Bean are not just any farmers - they are the cruellest, meanest and most ruthless farmers you could ever meet, and they are determined to put a stop to Mr Fox once and for all.

Under 5’s First Steps at The Lowry

This is a great way to explore your creativity through movement. Help design a dance, wiggle like a worm, balance in a shape and count to the music. This is a fun dance session encouraging physical awareness that energizes and educates too.

Cowboys and Indians at Stockley Farm
Now - Sunday 5 June, 11am-5pm
This 750-acre organic farm is set in the beautiful Cheshire countryside on the Arley Estate. Visitors will experience a hands-on day full of fun, starting with a tractor ride down to the farm. Meet and bottle-feed the baby animals, enjoy pony grooming and watch the sheep racing activity. Cowboys and Indians event is also on for half term. Join in the Cowboy and Indian fancy dress, line dancing, panning for gold, and aim and shot at the tin can alley.

Higgledy Piggledy Heads at Manchester Art Gallery

Wear your pyjamas, dressing gowns, slippers, nighties (whatever you like to sleep in) to the gallery for the special sleepy workshop. It's snooze time this half term as the gallery get inspired by the work of the surrealists. Relax and lie down to make your dream drawing, then head off on a 'sleep walk' to collect lots of different objects around the gallery. Down in the studio all the objects collected will be collaged onto drawings to make higgledy piggledy heads to take home.

Medieval Fayre at the Old Hall, Tatton Park

The thirteenth Medieval Fayre at Tatton in association with Plantagenet Events presents `The Kynges Progress'`. Men at arms, archers, gunners and a rag tag army of hangers-on promise an exciting and atmospheric event. Hundreds of re-enactors and over forty authentic merchants and skilled artisans complete a travelling fair. Witness the full panoply of the royal encampment and entourage. Quake in the presence of His Majesty the King and leave the rest as was. Spectacular finale battle both days.
