SEGRO has completed the first phase of its £3m refurbishment programme at Longwood Park in Trafford Park.
The 342,688 sq ft site is home to ATS Euromaster, Screwfix and Greggs as well as a host of local businesses.
The programme consisted of improvement works to two terraces along Longwood Road where units were updated to modernise their appearance, and new roofs and windows were installed.
In the next phase a number of older units will be demolished to create further yard space and off-road parking for the estate.
Segro also plans to improve security by installing new perimeter fencing and gates to Warren Road and Longwood Road, which will be closed outside normal business hours.
Hazel Lambert, senior leasing surveyor at Segro, said: "The first phase of refurbishment has significantly enhanced the quality of accommodation at the park and has modernised the facilities for existing and new customers. This is a great start to the wider refurbishment programme which will give a much needed facelift to Longwood Park."
