New Winter A La Carte Menu
The 2AA rosette River Restaurant at The Lowry Hotel has launched an exciting new menu. Executive chef, Andrew Green’s winter a la carte menu is full of tempting seasonal dishes such as starters like pan-fried breast of pigeon or cured sea trout whilst main courses include options such as seared supreme of halibut or pan-fried lemon sole.
Meat lovers will be delighted to see a 16oz chateaubriand roasted over the coals in the Josper Grill whilst the pastry team have been busy creating some fabulous delights like a praline and chocolate malt parfait and a brillat-savarin cheesecake.
The winter a la carte menu is available for lunch and dinner every day apart from Sunday lunch.

The River Restaurant offers a variety of choices, designed for delivering an occasion to remember. Throughout December, you can enjoy festive lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, accompanied with festive crackers and novelties on the table.

For all tables of ten or more in the River Restaurant, the organiser will receive a voucher for a meal for two from the Chef’s Choice Menu in January.
Festive Cocktails In The River Bar
The festive season is truly upon us and there is no better time of year to gather together friends, family and colleagues to celebrate. The River Bar is made for celebrations with some new cocktails based on classic Christmas treats.
Mulled Martini – A new take on the traditional Christmas favourite, mixing red wine, Drambuie, orange and lemon juice, honey and cinnamon syrup all topped with flamed orange.
Mince Pie Martini – A mix of Pedro Ximenez, Drambuie, Cointreau and apple juice which tastes just like a mince pie…but better.
The Ambassador – An indulgent mix of Frangelico, Mozart liqueur, Liquor 43 and a blend of chocolate and hazelnut syrup with a dash of cream, all topped off with crushed hazelnuts.
Our Chocolate Orange – A beautiful festive indulgence consisting of Grey Goose orange vodka, Mozart liqueur, chocolate syrup and a dash or orange bitters all finished with flamed orange.
